In order to prepare your oil, you need to preheat it at 350 Fahrenheit or 180 Centigrade. Don’t go over this temperature; otherwise you will risk your food to burn at such high heat. Gradually place the chicken in the oil, it will lower the temperature of the oil to around 325 Fahrenheit or 160 Centigrade, this is the ideal temperature for frying chicken. Adjust your heat to maintain 325 Fahrenheit or 160 Centigrade while the chicken is cooking.
